Halifax Regional Search and Rescue Public Map & Compass Course – Navigation for the Wilderness Trekker
Tuesday 16 April, 2013 6:30 – 9:30 pm Part 1 (Classroom)
Saturday 20 April, 2013 8:30am – 5 pm Part 2 (Outdoors)
Cost: $65.00/person donation to the HRSAR Team – payable by cash or cheque on Tuesday night
Where: Halifax Regional Search & Rescue Headquarters, 116 Lakeview Rd., Lakeview, Nova Scotia, B4C 4C7 (5 min. east of Sackville)

The session will be a combination of classroom and practical field exercises. Tuesday evening will be spent learning the tools in class, and Saturday applying them in the field.
The minimum age to participate is 12 years of age – all individuals under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a registered adult.
