Emergency Services Adventure Race

April 20, 2011

This year’s Emergency Services Adventure Race will be held on June 18th at Horseshoe Resort near Barrie, Ontario.  Teams of three competing in Fire, Police, Paramedic, Military and Civilian categories will navigate their way through their choice of either the 5-to-8 hour ESAR full course or the 3-to-5 hour “ESAR-Lite” short-course; each consisting of trekking, mountain biking and paddling sections, as well as a variety of special tasks.

Entering its 9th year, ESAR is Canada’s largest adventure racing event dedicated to emergency services personnel, and has been staged from a different host site across Central and Southern ON each year since its inception.
